Kathryn Elizabeth Powell Moffett, 67, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2018, at her home in Brandon.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 27, at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 28, at North Union Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Curtis Graham will officiate.
She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. She worked for Beverly Enterprises.
Survivors include her son, George Moffett of Jackson; four grandchildren, Jason Wilson, Nicole “Nikki” (Hayden Bain) Moffett, Courtney Moffett, and Chris Moffett; three great-grandchildren, Breeland Wilson, Caroline Wilson, and Kye Wilson; sister, Annette Adams of Hesterville; aunt, Vira Oakes of Hesterville; and sister-in-Christ, Patricia Byrd of Pearl; one niece and nephew; and a host of cousins.
She was preceded in death her parents, Dewey Monette and Annie Kathryn Webster Powell; and one son, Joe W. Moffett.
Pallbearers will be Robert Dees, Danny Moffett, Hayden Bain, Jason Wilson, and Mike Bain.
