Mrs. Kathryn Blanton, formerly of Kosciusko, born January 29, 1919, passed away at age 98 on April 11, 2017, in Natchez.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Joshua and Mary Horne (McDaniel); her husband, William Elwood Blanton; four brothers, Herbert Horne, Robert Horne, Everett Horne and Hillery Horne; one sister, Mattie Wagner; and one daughter-in-law, Gracie Blanton.
She is survived by two sons, Allen Blanton of Natchez and Thomas (Vicki) Blanton, Sacramento, Calif.; two grandsons, Woody (Miranda) Blanton of Pearl and Dewey (Tracy) Blanton of Washington, Miss.; one granddaughter, Morgan Blanton; two grandsons, Austin Blanton and Trace Blanton of Washington, Miss. and a number of nieces and nephews.
The viewing is Wednesday, April 19, from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at Parkway Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Woody Blanton, Dewey Blanton, Austin Blanton, Billy Tolleson, Ralph Milner and Gerald Pender.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association on her behalf.
