Joyce Otts, 81, passed away Saturday evening August 24, 2019, at her residence in Ethel. She was surrounded by family and friends.
Funeral services are at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 27, at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel in Kosciusko with burial to follow at Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is Monday, August 26, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Culpepper Funeral Home.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Otts; her parents, Otis and Neva Hamilton Smith; her brother, Otis; her sisters, Millie, Kay and Naomi; and two great-grandchildren, Zach and Kellie.
Joyce was a member of Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church and a retired CNA.
She is survived by her daughters, Julie Allbritton and Glenda Allen; her son, Lee Otts; her sisters, Jean Smith and Loretta Mays; her brother, Clement Smith; six grandchildren, Heather Rushing, Courtney Allbritton, Joseph Allbritton, Cindy (David) Ellsworth, Chris and Nick Allen; 10 great-grandchildren, Mallorie, Taylor, Courtney Allbritton, Matt, Macie, Hunter and Colton Ray, Nick, Elizabeth.
