Johnnie Ruth “Rue Rue” Frazier Henderson, 90, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018, at Brookdale Assisted Living in Biloxi, MS. Visitation was Friday, Jan. 19 at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko, and funeral were also Friday in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in the Parkway Cemetery. Rev. Ralph Hunt and Rev. Jerry Meggs officiated.
She was a member of St. Peter’s by the Sea in Gulfport, MS. She was an active member in the V.F.W. Women’s Auxiliary Post #2539 and a life member of the D.A.R. She served as President of Women’s Auxiliary in Gulfport, MS and Riverside, TX.
Survivors include son, Gary L. (Ginger) Ware of Biloxi, MS; daughter, Judith R. (Barry) Moore of Katy, TX; grandchildren, Elizabeth (finance` Aaron Broussard) Ware, Alexandra Ware, and Leah Lowry; great-grandchildren, Ethan Lowry and Eli Lowry; sisters, Dorlis Cummins of Kosciusko and Mazie McGhee of West; a host of nieces and nephews; and a handful of great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Craig Henderson; parents, John William and Elizabeth Parson Frazier; and brothers, Jerry Frazier and Carl Vernon Frazier.
Pallbearers are Kerry Hudgins, Michael Hudgins, Vernon Frazier, Kevin Frazier, Mark Frazier, and Jeff Gowan.
