Mr. John Robert “Bob” Woods, 82, of Kosciusko, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018, at the VA Medical Center in Jackson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel; burial to follow at Parkway Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday and continue until service time at the funeral home. Rev. Mike Barrentine and Rev. Ricky Summers will officiate.
Mr. Woods was retired from the Air Force, he was a Camp Worker and Minister. He was a member of Harvest Point Church.
He is survived by daughters, Lora Beth (Matthew) East, Melanie Tague; sons, John R. (Jean) Woods, Jr., Michael R. (Deborah) Woods, Owen “Ricky” (Dianna) Woods; sister, Ruby Hill; brother, Charles Woods; 17 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Dixie; and son, Charles Robbins Woods.
