Joseph Wayne Moffett, 44, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at the University Medical Center in Jackson.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 8, at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at North Union Baptist Church. Rev. Tony Fortenberry and Rev. Gene Richardson will officiate. 
He was a member of Doty Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughters, Brittany Nicole Moffett and her finance, Hayden Bain of Ethel, and Courtney Moffett of Kosciusko; son, Chris Moffett of Kosciusko; mother, Kathy Moffett of Brandon; brother, George R. Moffett, Jr. of Jackson and Joseph Allen Moffett of Kosciusko; sisters, Amy Moffett Thornton of Vaiden and Becky Moffett Swindle of Greenwood; special friend, Charlotte Rodgers of Kosciusko; children that he claimed as his own: Dylan Kyzer, Corey Johnson and Haliy Johnson, all of Kosciusko; step-children, Erika and Nathan Vandusen, both of Kosciusko; a host of cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Ronald Moffett, Sr.
