Joe Don Alexander, 86, of West, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 22, at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at North Union Cemetery. Visitation was Friday 5 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Gene Richardson will officiate.
Mr. Alexander was a Veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from Bellsouth with over 30 years of service. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Alma Alexander; wives, Marteal Alexander and Mildred Alexander; son, Don Alexander; sisters, Nellie and Loree.
He is survived by his son, Bruce Alexander and his wife Beau; brothers, Carl Alexander, John Alexander, Larry Alexander; sister, Peggy McCain; grandchildren, Candace and Lisa; six great grandchildren.
