Joanne Craft Fiedler, 89, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.
Visitation is from 11 to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, at First United Methodist Church in Kosciusko. Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church with burial to follow in the Parkway Cemetery. Dr. Scott Wright and Rev. Phillip Palmertree will officiate.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Kosciusko. She was active in Emmaus and Kairos prison ministry. She was a retired Business Administrator for the Kosciusko School District. She also was a member of the Garden Club, Book Lovers Club and the computer bunch. She volunteered to read to the students at Kosciusko Lower Elementary.
Survivors include her son, Herbert Patterson Fiedler and his wife, Carol of Kosciusko; two grandchildren, Wade Jordan Fiedler and William Patterson Fiedler; brother, Thomas Edwin Craft and his wife, Jane of Kosciusko; and three nieces, Mary Tyler and her husband, Toby, Beth Kyle and her husband, Tim, and Dianne Alford and her husband, Chip.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Temple and Mary “Mamie” Land Craft.
Pallbearers are Wade Fiedler, William Fiedler, Bradley Tyler, Brent Tyler, Craft Tyler, Chad Kyle, Kyle Dorsey, and Mark Jordan. Honorary pallbearers are Chase Dorsey, Toby Tyler, Tim Kyle, Chip Alford, A.D. McBeath, and Mickey Grove.
