James William “J.W.” Culpepper, 93, passed away Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Sept. 24, at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Nile Church of Christ Cemetery.
J.W. was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert (Hub) Culpepper and Ruby Lawrence Bailey; brothers, K D, Richard, and Billy Joe.
He was a member of Reformation Baptist Church and was retired from Yazoo Lawn Mower Company.
Jay is survived by his wife, Julia Settlemire Culpepper; son, Johnny Settlemire; sister, Ruby Dell Coffey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Tim McCarty, Mike Coffey, Danny Coffey, Logan Coffey, Peyton Coffey, and Jonathan Settlemire.
