James N. “Jim” Hudson, 89, of Sallis, passed away Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, at the Univesity Medical Center in Jackson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4, at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in New Hope Lutheran Church Cemetery in Sallis. Visitation was 5- 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Rev. Wayne Hudson, Rev. Martin Frazure, Rev. Jerry Meggs and Rev. Ralph Hunt will officiate services.
Hudson was born Oct. 28, 1928, to Virgil and Nella Frazure Hudson in the Zemuly community.
He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. He retired from Pet Milk, Luvel Dairy, and was an assistant at Royce’s Kwik Stop.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles Hudson; grandchildren, Michael Wayne and Jordan.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Hudson; sons, J.D. Hudson and wife Mary, Wayne Hudson and wife Tina; daughters, Sherry Pee and husband Royce, Rhonda Grantham and husband Scottie, Ludie James and husband Bob; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
