James Edward Burrell, 95, of Sallis, passed away Nov. 25, 2016, in Jackson.
Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at Seneasha Cemetery.
Visitation was 1-2:30 p.m. Saturday at Culpepper Funeral Home.
Rev. James Young officiated.
Mr. Burrell was a member of McAdams Baptist Church. He was a retired farmer, security guard, pipeline worker and service station owner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Louis and Lillie Mae Burrell; wife, Grace Burrell; daughter, Brenda Inez Ward; son, Charles Edward Burrell.
He is survived by a daughter, Linda Ward; sons, Herbert Allen Burrell, Howard Curtis Burrell.
Pallbearers were Travis Ward, Marty Ward, Jimmy Burrell, Carl Burrell, Matthew Burrell and Daniel Burrell.
