James C. Bailey, 86, of Kosciusko, passed away Nov. 29, 2016, in Ridgeland.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at the First United Pentecostal Church with burial in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery in Yazoo City.
Visitation was held from 11:30 a.m. Saturday until service time.
Culpepper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Bailey was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church. He was a retired mechanic and civil servant. He was an avid gardener and loved the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Garrett and Jessie Lee Bailey; first wife, Vickie Bailey; son, David Bailey.
He is survived by wife, Mattie Bailey; sons, Jimmy Ray (Becky) Bailey, Roger (Brenda) Bailey and David Hill; daughters, Rita (Thomas) Webb, Pam Boleyn, Elizabeth Ann Bailey, Vickie (Jim) Mendez and Sandra Doyle; sister, Hattie Lumbly; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
