Ms. Irene Smith, 85, formerly of McAdams, passed away November 29, 2017.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 2, at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel with in burial the Attala Memory Gardens. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday prior to services. Rev. James Young will officiate.
Ms. Smith was a homemaker, waitress and convenience store owner. She was a military spouse whose husband served and retired from the United States Army.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clayton Isaac and Mary Emma McDaniel Humphrey; husband, Bill Smith; brothers, J.D., Elvin, Roy, Howard; sister, Christine.
She is survived by her son, Billy Smith; sisters, Louise Deal, Pauline Westbrook; grandchildren, Danielle, Christy, Courtney, Candace, Madisson, Mallory; 12 great grandchildren; beloved niece, Tenia McAdams.
In lieu of flowers the family asks memorials be made to The Lone Survivor Foundation or Toys for Tots.
