Mrs. Irene Broach Higgs 88, died Sunday, January 22, 2017, at Baptist Medical Center - Attala in Kosciusko.
Mrs. Higgs was a retired factory worker and member of Williamsville Baptist Church.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 24, at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Liberty Cemetery. Rev. Junior Davis and Rev. Rickey Summers will officiate.
Survivors include daughters Joyce Hunter and her husband Gary of Denton, Texas, Barbara Galle and her husband Alain of McKinney, Texas and Suzanne Summers and her husband Ronnie of Kosciusko; grandchildren, Bryan Walls, Scot Herod, Ami Summers and Kimberly Durden; great-grandchildren, Timothy Walls, Anna Gloria Walls and Ryker Herod. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Higgs; parents, Herbert and Sara Catherine Triplett Broach; sisters, Helen Portera, Frances Coll, Annette Broach; brothers, Charlie, Robert and Nelson Broach; a grandson, Brandon Herod.
Memorials may be made to the Baptist Children’s Village, 114 Marketridge Drive, Ridgeland, MS.
