Hilda Fay Riddell Lindsay, 90, passed away February 29, 2020, at the Attala Nursing Center in Kosciusko.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, and 12 to 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, at Jordan Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Sunday in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Parkway Cemetery. Rev. Barry Corbett will officiate.
She was born February 22, 1930, in Leake County, MS, as was a longtime member of Kosciusko First Baptist Church. She attended Marydell High
School where she excelled in sports. She also attended the Kings Daughters School of Nursing in Greenville. She was a volunteer at Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital and retired June 26, 1992, after a career of 47 years with M&F Bank.
Survivors include her sons, Lamar Lindsay M.D. and wife, Vicki ,of Collierville, TN and Randol Lindsay D. Min of Kosciusko; grandchildren, Zachary and Caleb Lindsay, Jonathan Caldwell Lindsay and Brian Edward Lindsay; great-grandchildren, Jonathan Caldwell (Cal) Lindsay, and Phen Lindsay; and sister, Eudean Ray of Carthage.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Caldwell Lindsay; son, Frank Irving Lindsay; parents, Jack Riddell and Lillie Mae Plunkett Riddell.
Pallbearers will be Caleb Lindsay, Ryan Lindsay, Brian Lindsay, Jonathan Lindsay, Telford Lindsay, Dodd Lindsay, and Zachary Lindsay.
