Mrs. Ellen Brown, 86, of Ethel, passed away Dec. 29, 2016.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, at Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 – 11 a.m. Saturday at Culpepper Funeral Home. Rev. Larry Harvey will officiate.
Mrs. Brown was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. She was retired from LuVel Dairy and Boyd’s Drug Store where she was a bookkeeper.
She was preceded in death by parents, William T. and Cadda Oden Blanton; husband, J.D. Brown; son, John Brown; sister, Nellie Gary; brothers, Frank Blanton, Elwood Blanton, James Blanton, Irvin Blanton, Bryce Blanton.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, Wilda Myers, Rickey Tolleson.
Pallbearers will be Ralph Milner, William Crosby, David Crosby, Rickey Tolleson, James Malone, Ronald Holdiness.
