Edward “Ed” L. Bowles, 87, of Kosciusko, passed away Nov. 27, 2017, at the Mississippi State Veterans Home in Kosciusko.
He was born in the Shady Grove Community at his grandparent’s house on July 7, 1930, to the late U.S. and Evelyn Jones Bowles.
Ed served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was the owner of Bowles Barber Supply.
He had a love for bluegrass music, the Shady Grove Community, and he loved to travel out West.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Sarah.
He is survived by son, David Bowles and wife Kim Harrison; daughter, Judy Bowles; sisters, Patsy Henry, Effie Dale Wallace; grandchildren, Guy, Rob, Sarah.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Culpepper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
