Dovie Mae Threet Mangrum, 99, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Attala County Nursing Center in Kosciusko.
Visitation was from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday at Jordan Funeral Home, and from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Doty Springs Baptist Church. Funeral services are at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 5, 2018 at Doty Springs Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Tony Fortenberry will officiate.
She was a member of Doty Springs Baptist Church. She loved animals, especially her dog, Solo, and she loved squirrel hunting and fishing with her father.
Survivors include her nieces, Sharron Williams and Linda Phillips; nephew, James Anderson; and other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam B. and Mattie Threet; husband, E. E. “Dick” Mangrum; and three sisters, Lavell Smith, Annie Dee Bell, and Lorraine Anderson.
Pallbearers are Danny C. Williams, Anthony Williams, Bryan Nowell, Marcus Ray, Ronald Phillips, and Derick Burchfield. Honorary pallbearer is Zachary Cantey.
