After many years of pain and suffering in life, Dorothy Jane is now safe asleep in the arms of Jesus. Mrs. Rasberry passed away November 4, 2018, at the Attala County Nursing Center. Funeral services were 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 7, at the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in Liberty Cemetery. Rev. Jeremy Tillman officiated.
Mrs. Rasberry was born January 18, 1940, to Allen and Ethel Mills. She was a graduate of Weir High School and was long employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was of the Christian faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Rasberry; parents; and siblings, Roy, Ruth Helen, Bernice, Hayes and Harold Wayne.
Those surviving her are her sons, John Rasberry, and Allen Rasberry, both of Kosciusko; and a sister, Carlee Mills Grant, of Vicksburg.
