Carlton Johnson, 79, of Carthage, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 24, at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Parkway Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12 noon until service time. Rev. Don Cook will officiate.
Mr. Johnson was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church. He was a self-employed electrician.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Nell Johnson; daughters, Sheila Sanders and husband Phil, Terry Overstreet and husband Doug; sons, Don Moore, Gregg Moore and wife Lita; sisters, Bobbie Oliver, Rosemary Kelly, Irene McKay; ten grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ivy and Mary Lou Johnson.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Steven Sanders, Jon Sanders, Jason Moore, Michael Moore, Douglas Overstreet, P.J. Overstreet.
