Betty Sue Gregory Brown, 86, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS.
Visitation will be 1 to 3 p.m. Monday at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. on Monday, July 2, in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Parkway Cemetery. Rev. Don Ray will officiate.
She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. She held a Specialist degree in Education, as well as several other educational degrees. She instructed all ages throughout her 42-year career at both Zama and Greenlee Schools. She was a member of the D.A.R. and was loved by many.
Survivors include her daughter, Jane (Bryan) Myers of the Zama Community; grandchildren, Abigail Myers and Emmalee Myers; sister, Stella Jane Shumaker; niece, Nina Sue Burcham of Tupelo; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Hadley and Stella Annis Adams Gregory; siblings, Billy Gregory, Adams Gregory, Edward Gregory, Annis Stout, and Fred Gregory; and brother-in-law, Roy Shumaker.
Pallbearers will be Brad Ryals, Danny Ryals, Robert Gentry, Charles Hobson, Curtis Burcham, and Kenny Gentry.
