Betty Jo Ramage Dees, 81, passed away Thursday, Feb. 20, 2020, at the Attala County Nursing Center in Kosciusko.
Funeral services were Sunday, Feb. 23, at Culpepper Funeral Home with burial at North Union Cemetery in Hesterville.
Mrs. Dees is survived by son, Billy Jim Dees; daughters, Vickie Gove (Dan), Connie Christopher (Scott); grandchildren, Elizabeth Maness (Ricky), Lyndsey Rigby (Ricky), Kayla Vance (Jason), Kelly Kelley (Chris), Lacie Hovas (Ryan), Candice Barber (Chase), and Kolby Gove and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Second Baptist Church and of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a cosmetologist and a retired CNA.
Mrs. Dees was preceded in death by her husband Jim Dees, parents Lonzo Hayden and Etta Hodges Ramage; brothers Hayden Ramage, Floyd Ramage, Allen Ramage, Cotton Ramage, and Paul Ramage; sisters Pearl Rigby, and Emma McBride; and daughter-by-heart Sherry Ingold.
