Ann Firestone Jordan, 71, of Kosciusko, passed away on Dec. 19, 2016.
Visitation is 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016 at Jordan Funeral Home. Services will be held at 1p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, at Jordan Funeral Home with burial at Parkway Cemetery. Rev. Scott Wright and Rev. Barry Corbett will officiate.,
Ann was born in the Mississippi Delta and graduated from Clarksdale-Coahoma County High School in 1963. She proved to be very talented in artwork from a young age. She graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1967 with a major in Art. After graduation, she taught art classes at Coahoma County High School before marrying Henry Hunter Jordan, Jr., and coming to Kosciusko.
She was successful in selling her artwork through her hobby shop in Kosciusko, flea markets, and Brown’s Fine Art Gallery in Jackson. She was a member and recipient of recognition from the Mississippi Watercolor Society. She later opened Jordan Art Gallery that featured various artists from the local area. She was involved in the management of Jordan Furniture Company. She was the owner and director of the Central Mississippi Flea Market in Kosciusko.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Paul Firestone, and Jean Jones Firestone.
She is survived by sons, Henry Hunter Jordan, III, and his wife, Rosalind Hayden Jordan of Kosciusko, and Jackson Firestone Jordan, and his wife, Julie Horn Jordan of Madison; grandchildren, Henry Harrison Jordan, James Parker Jordan, Lillian Audrey Jordan, Julianna Violet Jordan, and Jackson Firestone Jordan, Jr.
