Main Street in Ethel will be transformed into a carnival-like atmosphere Saturday as the 34th annual May Day Festival gets underway.
In addition to arts and craft, the festival will offer food throughout the day including deep fried oreos, funnel cakes, pork skins and hamburgers.
Inflatable slides and bouncy houses will be provided for the entertainment of children.
Randy Clark will serve as master of ceremonies for the entertainment taking place in the town pavilion. Lineup includes Mike Johnson, Mt. Pilgrim Church group, Gabrielle Sanders, Stuart Murray, Michael Locke and Martina Garland.
Serving as chairmen for the event are David and Lisa Odom, Randy and Carol Clark and Deborah Ray.
Participants are invited to bring lawn chairs for seating in the pavilion and surrounding area.
