A high-speed chase up the Natchez Trace Parkway from Madison County ended early Saturday morning in Attala County.
Deputies with the Attala County Sheriffs Office assisted Madison County officials and officers with the Mississippi Highway Patrol in pursuit of a red Dodge truck traveling in excess of 100 m.p.h.
The chase was ended with spike strips disabling the suspect’s car. The subject was taken into custody and returned to Madison County. The vehicle was found to be stolen.
Police looking for stolen 4-wheeler
Attala County deputies are looking for a suspect that stole a 4-wheeler from Yockanookany Wildlife Management on Saturday.
A green 500 c.c. Foreman 4-wheeler was reported stolen and the rear fence of the wildlife management were cut.
