A McCool man is being held on a $1.1 million bond in Starkville after an arrest steaming from an alleged sexual assault on May 1.
Starkville police reported the arrest of 29-year-old Jerry Lee Talley, Jr. for rape, robbery, kidnapping and aggravated assault by the U.S. Marshals Service. Terry Lamont Hill of West Point was also arrested in the case with rape, robbery, kidnapping and assault charges.
Investigators claim Talley and Hill raped a woman, assaulted a man with a blunt object causing “serious bodily harm” and bound him with shoelaces before placing him in a closet. They are also accused of stealing the male victim’s phone.
Talley could face life in prison for the rape and kidnapping charges and could face 15 years for robbery and 20 years for aggravated assault.
Talley's bond was set at $1.1 million by Starkville Municipal Court Judge Rodney Faver last week.
