Adyson Poole was named Miss Natchez Trace Festival in a pageant Friday night kicking off activities of the annual event.
Adyson is the daughter of Sachia and Jason Poole and she attends Kosciusko High School. Adyson is very active in the Beta Club and Big Red Marching Band.
She was crowned by the reigning titleholder Abi McDaniel.
Other winners in age groups are listed: 0-12 months, Mary Barber; 3-4-year-old, Brentley Hutchison; 5-6-year-old, Mia Brannon; 7-9-year-old, Lillian Brannon; 10-11-year-old, Ozaria Landfair; 10-12-year-old, Mayson Kyzer.
Sandy McBride gave the welcome to the pageant held at the Mary Ricks Thornton Cultural Center and Jenny Cook presented each contestant.
Scholarship to the winner was provided by the Kosciusko Junior Auxiliary Chapter and The Dance Company. Patterson Jewelers provided the crown; Agape, flowers; Cute Cuts & Such, the sash.
