Christmas open house at the Attala County Library Sunday afternoon featured a variety of holiday music including performers on the piano, flute, guitar, saxophone along with soloists and group singing.
Decorated trees placed throughout the library carried out the Trees of Christmas theme. They were provided by Presbyterian Day School Spanish class, American Legion Post 44, Kosciusko Exchange Club, Friends of the Attala County Library, Teen Library Council, Little Garden Club, The Readers Group, The Readers Club, Children’s Storytime, Retired Education Personnel of Mississippi, Junior Auxiliary Crown Club.
Librarian Charla Grace welcomed guests and Ryan Lindsay served as master of ceremonies.
Performers during the afternoon were Celina Wilson, Auren Sky Armon, piano; Shelby Jones, flute; Pastor Phillip Palmertree, guitar; Pastor Grant Gregory, saxophone; Pastor Martha Jones and choir from Heaven is My Goal Ministry; Lawrence Routt, piano; Lynn Wiggers, flute and Ann Carter, piano. Teen Library Council members also participated.
Library staff members served refreshments throughout the afternoon.
