A new comprehensive planning and zoning ordinance was presented to Kosciusko aldermen during a quick housekeeping meeting Tuesday night.
Aldermen have planned a workshop to fix any problems with the ordinance on Jan. 3 with a public hearing asking for comments from the public on Jan. 17.
In other action the aldermen:
• approved a letter with Buffalo United Methodist Church for the city to remove trees;
• approved payments totaling $91,099.11 to Sample & Hicks, Gardner Engineering and Delta Constructors.
The next scheduled meeting of the Kosciusko Board of Aldermen will be Jan. 3 at city hall.
