Massey Clothing Co. on the east side of the courthouse square, offering clothing for men and women, is closing its doors.
Owner Kristi Massey cited business conditions and family as reasons for the decision to close.
Store manager Linda Chennault said the store closing sale sign went up last Friday with a reduction of prices on all merchandise.
Sale prices will continue throughout the summer with closing expected in late July or early August.
The store opened in September 2014 with a grand opening held that October.
“Kosciusko’s rich retail tradition is rightfully a great source of pride in our community,” said Kosciusko Attala Partnership CEO Kel McDowell. “Massey Clothing Company contributed to this legacy, and we wish its team the very best in their future endeavors.”
Massey said she appreciates all Massey’s customers and expressed appreciation for community support.
