Ryan Lindsay has announced his candidacy for a seat on the Kosciusko School’s Board of Trustees.
Lindsay is a third generation graduate of Kosciusko High School. He and his wife Sissy have two children in the school system at Upper Elementary and Junior High. Lindsay is a graduate of Mississippi State University and a former officer and pilot in the United States Air Force. He is the owner of Redbud Insurance and Financial in Kosciusko.
“Like many, I deeply care about our school district and its implications for the future of Kosciusko,” Lindsay said. “Having the best possible education for our children is paramount. Our school system has had a tradition of being one of the best in the state, and I want to see that it continues to produce productive, tax paying and law abiding citizens.”
“I want to give voters a choice, since we haven’t had an election with opposition since 1994 for this seat,” Lindsay added. “If the voters express their trust and confidence in me to represent them, then I will serve by listening and working with the rest of the members for the best interest of our children, teachers, administrators and the school system as a whole.”
