As the Kosciusko Junior Auxiliary make plans for its annual Charity Ball on Jan. 28, focus is also directed to projects that will be made possible as a result of its major fund raising.
Throughout the year JA is involved in numerous projects that benefit children of the area. Some of them are Reading for Kids in city, county and private schools; Special Friends parties at Attala Industries; Foster Kids party assistance; assistance with Attala Library Summer Reading Program.
The organization also implements many service projects, scholarships and other community assistance is provided during the year.
The semi-formal ball will follow the theme of “A Winter Wonderland.” Tickets to the event at the Attala County Coliseum are now on sale for $40.
Early activities of the evening will include presentation of the King and Queen of the Ball and the court which will involve children ages kindergarten through second grade along with junior high and senior high ladies.
