A shuffle with the Kosciusko Police Department was approved by city aldermen during its meeting last week.
Aldermen approved moving officers Kenny Baron and Nathan Linkins from patrol shift one to patrol shift two as well as moving new recruits Casey Pounders and Devante Lewis to patrol shift one.
The aldermen also approved the resignation request of officer Jerry Coleman.
In other business the aldermen also approved over $60K in payments. Payments included: $45,065.55 to Delta Constructors, $8,036.20 to Gardner Engineering and $7,247 to Sample, Hicks and Associates.
Other actions taken included
• approval of Desmen Sandifer and Ariyan Love as part-time summer workers with the cemetery department;
• approval of equipment for street department;
• approval of a bid from Mike Berry for mowing at the industrial park.
The next scheduled meeting of the Kosciusko Board of Aldermen is set for April 17 at 5:30 p.m. at city hall.
