A suspect in an Ohio homicide was arrested Thursday in Kosciusko, according to WCPO in Cincinnati and local authorities.
Police issued a warrant for the arrest of Cleveland Saunders IV, 21, on Dec. 14, 2016, after they discovered another man, Jaron Steele, shot to death in the mobile park where they both lived, according to WCPO.
According to local authorities, at noon on Thursday officers located a subject in a vehicle on West Adams Street that appeared to be an individual wanted in the case. The subject was quickly apprehended on Peeler Street and taken into custody. The news station identified the suspect as Sanders, but no official word has been released by local authorities.
Saunders was taken to the Leake County Correctional Facility.
According to WCPO, The Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team, which consists of the Hamilton County Fugitive Unit and United States Marshals, found Saunders in Carthage and arrested him despite another attempt at escape, Ohio authorities said.
Saunders was awaiting extradition as of Thursday evening.
