On Thursday, the Kosciusko Police Department received a call about someone riding a go-cart at Renasant Bank on Washington Street.
Upon arrival, officers encountered a 41-year-old black male, Kenneth Sharkey, Jr., who was riding the go-cart.
Sharkey had outstanding warrants for shoplifting and was then arrested for driving an improper vehicle, no driver's license, four counts of shoplifting and resisting arrest. Police discovered he was also in possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) - felony.
Sharkey was transported to the Leake County Jail with a $5,000 bond on the felony drug charge.
