Health Science I and II Students from the Kosciusko-Attala Career Tech Center competed in the Central District HOSA Competition at Meridian Community College on Saturday, January 28.
The group had 23 students to score in the top five in their category and will go to State Competition on March 28-30, in Jackson.
Students that will go to State competition are as follows: first place, Medical Math (Alexis McBride);first place-Medical Reading (Bailey Britt); second place-Pathophysiology (Tanner Threet); second place-Biomedical Laboratory Science (Dhruv Patel;) second place-Health Career Display (Anna Claire Blaylock and Natalie Howell); third place-Research Persuasive Speaking (Abbey McCrory); third place-Forensic Medicine (Kimberly Evans & Keyunia Nash); third place-Health Education (Kalei Campbell, Robrianna Clark, Paige Dendy, and Nadia Moak); fourth place-Medical Assisting (Madeline McCown); fourth place-Physical Therapy (Kaleigh Myer); fourth place-Extemporaneous Health Poster (Jaylon Hollman); forth place-Extemporaneous Writing (Curt Pope); 5th Place-Veterinary Science (Karyme Peralta); fifth place-Prepared Speaking (Shay Collins); State Qualified-Biomedical Debate (Jake Cockroft, Brianna Johnson, Loren Steed, and Kamrie Upchurch).
