Kosciusko police are seeking two suspects following the shooting in the area of North Natchez Street and Woodard Lane.
Police Chief Herbert Dew said the department received the call at 3:49 p.m. and when they arrived on the scene of the incident, they found a 34-year-old female who had been shot in the upper left arm. She was transported to Jackson by Medstat Ambulance Service.
There are two suspects being sought in this case. One is 31-year-old Antonio L. Winters, a black male from Kosciusko. The second suspect is a 22-year-old black female, Styvekka Thompson, of Ethel. Both suspects are wanted for aggravated assault.
The suspects were last seen headed north on N. Natchez Street in a white Chevrolet Tahoe-type vehicle.
