The Kosciusko Attala Partnership is hosting the annual Who’s Who Evening Social at 6 p.m. next Thursday at Holmes Community College Attala Center. The program will begin at 7 p.m.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for us to bring our community partners together and thank them for all they do,” said Kel McDowell, CEO of KAP.
The event will honor businesses and individuals whose service and contributions have shined and in the process, added an extra glow to the community.
“We have a truly wonderful community because of our many partners that do many great things,” McDowell added. “It will also be a great opportunity for those in our community to connect with one another and also individuals who are involved elsewhere in our region.”
The organization will give out Golden Shovel awards, recognizing the best in community service. In addition, the event will give a discussion of recent accomplishments and what’s to come from KAP.
Rev. Dr. Scott Wright will be the master of ceremonies for the event.
In lieu of a formal sit-down dinner, attendees will have the opportunity to mingle and sample food stations that highlight local cuisines. The event will also feature giveaways and door prizes.
Tickets for the event are $35 and can be purchased at the KAP office at 662-289-2981 or online at kapwhoswho.evenium.net. Tickets must be purchased by Nov. 14.
