Personnel from Baptist Memorial Hospital and Premier Medical Group provided free physicals to students at Kosciusko Junior High and High School last week, serving a total of between 450 and 500 students.
“This is something our system does to help the community,” said Baptist CEO Rob Coleman. “It is part of our mission and vision.”
Wes Carter of Premier Medical Group agreed.
“We’ve been offering free physicals for about 30 years, but the past two years, we’ve actually done them on-site,” he said. In addition to general physicals, Premier brought personnel in vision and orthopedics for the event, as well, with a total of 20 staffers providing service at the event.
