Roos Pool & Spa held a grand reopening last week after moving to a newly renovated facility on Knox Road in Kosciusko. Local government and business leaders were on hand to celebrate the occasion.
On Saturday, June 20, a family group of the late James Franklin “Jim” Jones met at Dickerson Cemetery, located southwest of Sallis on County Road 4102, for the annual cleaning and restoration of the family cemetery, founded in the 1800s. They share family history and enjoy a picnic after the work is done. The cousins present for this year’s gathering were Grace Jones Atwood, Odolphine Jones Nored, Virginia Jones Hathcock, Eva Jones Almon, Jerry Jones, Barbara Jones Worrel, Pat Jones, Doug Lepard, Cecil Jones, Richard Jones.
