Officials with the Kosciusko Police Department are looking for information after a burglary at Central MS Firearms early Tuesday morning.
At approximately 4:30 a.m., two unidentified black males broke into the store on Hwy. 35 N. The suspects were driving a white Chevrolet 2500 diesel pickup truck, which was reported stolen from Tchula. According to police records, the suspects used the truck to back into the storefront and gained entry.
Police reported that eight handguns and one AR-15 assault rifle were stolen. The stolen pickup truck was wrecked on Hwy. 12 W outside Kosciusko after the suspects fled the scene. They escaped by foot.
One handgun and the AR-15 were recovered nearby the wrecked truck.
The two males were last seen walking down Hwy. 12 heading towards Holmes County, where they were picked up by an individual driving a black Trailblazer with an unknown license plate.
