A man is in critical condition after being shot over the weekend.
At approximately 3 p.m. on Saturday officers with the Attala County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of shots fired at a residence on Highway 43 south of Kosciusko.
Upon arrival officers found a white male, Devin Rosson, with a gunshot wound in the side. According to authroities Rosson was shot after an altercation with his father, Anthony Salers.
According to Sheriff Tim Nail, Rosson was transported by emergency medical services and airlifted to Jackson where he is still in critical condition.
“No arrests have been made, but charges are pending with an arrest expected to be made soon,” Nail added.
The investigation is ongoing.
