Annual open house featuring Trees of Christmas and entertainment was held Sunday afternoon at the Attala County Library.
Decorated trees provided by groups, clubs and organizations were displayed throughout the library and entertainment was provided at intervals.
Kel McDowell with the Kosciusko-Attala Partnership served as emcee. Those providing a variety of vocal selections of Christmas music were Katherine G. Cockrell, Teen Library Council, Ministers Chorus, Ethel Baptist Church Choir, Nate Edwards and Mt. Hope District Choir, Diamond Rayford and D’Naylah Williams, Elo and the Due Dates.
Trees were displayed by the PDS Spanish Class, Little Garden Club, Teen Library Council, Second Monday Book Club, Kosciusko Lower Elementary, Lady Landowners Association,
Friends of the Attala County Librarhy, Samuel Hammond DAR Chapter, Retired Teachers Chapter, In-House Story Time.
Santa Claus made a visit, greeted youngsters and took wishes from their Christmas lists.
