Activities are planned each day Sept. 26-30 at Ethel High School in anticipation of 2016 homecoming.
Students are encouraged to participate in the following spirit days - Monday will be Disney vs. Superhero; Tuesday-Jocks vs Nerds, Wednesday-Tropical vs. Tacky Tourist; Thursday- Rappers vs. Rocker; and Friday- Tigers vs. Gators (wear the most black and gold).
On Thursday, Sept. 29 at 6 p.m. a homecoming parade will take place in the town of Ethel.
The homecoming court will be presented and the 2016 queen will be crowned during pre-game activities at 6 on Friday, Sept. 30. After homecoming the Ethel Tigers will host the Leake County Gators on Tiger Field at 7 p.m.
The 2016 Ethel High School Homecoming Court consists of 7th grade maids, Abbie Ellington and Jayia Johnson; 8th grade maids, Chloe Cloninger and Alexis Sanders; Freshman maids, Colbi Arnold and Madison Odom; Sophomore Maids, Kalei Campbell and Kyandrea Rainey; Junior Maids, Hope Holly and Karsyn Wright; and Senior Maids, Brianna Campbell, Shannon Collins, Kiera McCain, and Halea Wood.
