The Kosciusko School District has released the following updated information regarding ticketing for sport events:
"Our first Kosciusko Whippet home football game will be tomorrow night, Friday, September 11 at 7pm. As many of you may already know, Governor Tate Reeves has limited the capacity at all athletic events in the state due to COVID-19 safety concerns.
Because of this, the Kosciusko School District will only be able to sell a limited amount of tickets to all athletic events at this time. I would like to share some information with you regarding how you can purchase a ticket to one of our athletic events, including tomorrow night’s first home football game at Landrum Field. Please be aware that absolutely no tickets will be sold at the games. Again, no tickets will be sold at Kosciusko Whippet home games at this time. Each participant (athlete, band member, coach) was given the opportunity to purchase 2 season tickets in advance of their first home game. The remaining available tickets will be sold on the day of the game at the corresponding school. This means junior high game tickets will be sold at KJHS and high school game tickets will be sold at KHS on game days. KSD students can purchase 2 tickets beginning at 7:30am on the morning of the game. The rest of the tickets will be open for purchase by the public from 8:30am to 2:00pm on game day. Each person may only purchase two tickets. The tickets will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis until we are sold out.
All ages of children will need a ticket in order to enter a Kosciusko Whippet athletic event. Gates will open 1 hour before the start of the game. Anyone without a ticket will not be admitted and will be asked to leave the premises. We are all very excited for the return of Whippet football at Landrum Field and can’t wait to cheer on our Whippets tomorrow night."
