In their first meeting of the new year, the Attala County Board of Supervisors named a new president and vice president this past Tuesday morning.
Charles Fancher (Beat 2) was appointed board president and Bobby Lindsay (Beat 1) was tabbed as vice-president.
In other appointments, Scott Pickle was reappointed as the board attorney while Christian Gardner will continue to serve as the County/State-Aid Engineer.
The second quarter budget for the Attala County Sheriff’s Office as well as the Tax Collector office were approved as well as the acceptance of a county depository bid.
The Attala County Board of Supervisors will meet again on January 16.
