Board orders to begin progress on three road projects in Attala County was approved by the Board of Supervisors during its meeting Monday morning.
County engineer Christian Gardner presented the board with the projects calling for work on five county roads. Included in the projects was a base repair and overlay project on county road 4213 in Sallis along with base reconstruction and paving on Stewart Smith Road and Rocky Port Road. A project for a reseal and base repair on another section of County Road 2120, Ethel Harmony Road and Zama Center Road was also included.
Other action taken by the supervisors:
• approving a three-month lease with Entergy for space at the Brinkman Building;
• approving an agreement with Alliance Health Center for housing indigent hospital patients;
• approving a school bus turn-around for Jean and L.D. Erving.
