Hundreds, if not thousands, of deal seekers are expected to descend on Central Mississippi in April to grab some bargains at the first-ever 50-mile yard sale.
Sponsored by the Kosciusko Attala Partnership, The Main Street Chamber of Leake County and the Town of Walnut Grove, Picking 35 in the Heart of Mississippi yard sale will stretch from Carmack to Kosciusko to Carthage to Walnut Grove and all the points in between. The event on April 1 will run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
“The sale will stretch all the way down Hwy. 35 through Attala and Leake Counties giving bargain hunters a great way to shop for yard sale treasures, special finds and that one item you cannot live without,” said G.G. Holmes, KAP Main Street Director. “It will be a great way to spend the day with friends shopping for that perfect bargain for your home or to repurpose that one piece that you have been searching for.”
