The West Civic Club met on Wednesday, Dec. 12 to put together the annual Christmas baskets and see that they were delivered to different citizens in the area who are having hard times and those who have done several things for the club and community throughout this year. This is our way of saying we remember you and that you have not been forgotten.
Members who helped to organize the project are Ms. Inez Dickerson, Ms. Sara McLellan, Ms. Lynn Hathcock, Ms. Maryann Stevens, Ms. Carol Black and those who helped behind the scenes. Thank you, ladies, for a job well done.
We are also remembering Mr. Frankie Farmer and his family during this season as they have just recently lost a beloved member of their family, Ms. Lynda. It is not easy losing a family member anytime but, especially this time of the year. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
