On Saturday, April 6, the Bethel Lodge members are selling smoked Boston butts and ribs during the Picking 35 event. There will also be booths for $10 for anyone who wants to participate in the yard sale event. Hamburger plates, drink and chips will be available for $5 and hot dog plates, drink and chips will be available for $3. Contact Bud McCrory at 662-582-4249 to order Boston butt or ribs.
On April 14 there will be a church-wide covered dish lunch at Sand Hill Baptist Church with the annual Easter Egg hunt after lunch. On Easter Sunday, there will be a church-wide breakfast at 8 a.m. followed by regular services at 9 a.m.
To celebrate Ralph Self’s birthday, he and Brenda attended the car show and race at Battlefield Drag Strip in Collinsville.
Nancy Dumas of Biloxi visited with Ralph and Brenda Self. She was in Jackson for the St. Paddy’s parade and decided to spend time in Kosciusko with her relatives. They enjoyed luncheon at the Italian Restaurant in Kosciusko.
Recent visitors with Robert and Jeannette Alexander were Billy and Tracy Gordon of Vicksburg and Kyle, Erin and Ryder Gordon of Madison. Jeannette, Tracy and
Erin went shopping at The Prissy Hen in Vaiden while the men visited the horses and cows on the farm and finished lunch preparations.
Jimmy Rigby, Herbert Hodges and Bobby Joe Pinkard enjoyed a wagon ride through the community and surrounding area recently.
